Dr. Phoebe Lewis
Welcome to MPS! I am glad you found my practice.
I am a doctoral clinical psychologist practicing in person in central Vermont, and via telehealth in Vermont and New York. I primarily work with teens and adults experiencing PTSD, OCD, insomnia, depression, and anxiety. I also work with couples in NY state.
In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I conduct cognitive, psychological, and forensic evaluation services in person and via telehealth.
I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology with specialized experience with OCD and PTSD treatments. My training has included neuropsychological assessment at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, forensic immigration evaluations at the University of Vermont, and PTSD research and treatments at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, a gold-standard treatment for PTSD. I also have extensive training in Prolonged Exposure, Written Exposure Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and CBT for insomnia (CBT-I). I am experienced in conducting forensic asylum evaluations.
I will be dual-licensed in Vermont (in-person and telehealth) and New York (telehealth) in 2027 and am currently completing my postdoctoral hours in a group practice setting. I plan to offer in-person psychotherapy and assessment in Middlebury, VT upon licensure.
